I am so excited to begin my first year teaching here at St. Matthew’s! I’m already feeling the love and support from the community here – can’t wait for the little ones and their families to arrive!
A native Floridian, I grew up in Ormond Beach, Florida, attending school and church at St. James Episcopal. I couldn’t be happier to have found an Episcopal community to be a part of out here in Austin and I hope to provide the same sense of family and belonging for my students that my teachers did for me.
While it’s hard being so far away from my awesome family (loving parents, 2 sisters, a brother-in-law, and my sweet pup, Pebbles), I love residing in Austin, TX! After living in North Carolina while attending Wake Forest University (Go Deacs!), I moved out to Austin to pursue a master’s degree in early childhood education at University of Texas. I graduated in May and feel extremely lucky to have found a job that I am so excited about.
